Hi, I'm Ian - recovered alcoholic with over 20 years in education, teaching and developing training and learning plans.

I recently left my job as an English lecturer to concentrate on exploring new pathways into recovery, particularly how they relate to mental health, and how I can use my own recovery journey to help other people.

Oh, and to support my brother with ideas, questions and the development of the Sobrly vision. I'm here in the background (for now) keeping an eye on the content and structure of Sobrly, advising and guiding the rest of the team.
